The Collyweston Slater is a pub from a bygone age with all the hallmarks of a traditional English coaching dating from the 17th century. Over the centuries it has been well cherished for miles around and whilst it has seen changes over time, we very much hope it will continue to maintain its proper pub status for many years to come. Oh and we're super proud of our Collyweston Slate roof!
At the helm of The Slater are Oliver and Amie whose careers have for the past twelve years been in the hospitality trade locally and has gain a high reputation for food and a good service and along with building a team is committed to ensuring that everyone gets a warm Collyweston welcome, continually striving to improve the offering.
The pub leased by Oliver from Everards Brewery. Founded in 1849 as an independent family business, Everards is a Leicestershire-based brewery. Producing cask ales including Tiger Best Bitter which is the official beer of the Leicester Tigers rugby union team.
